Oruvail is a popular medicine that is also widely known under the generic name of Ketoprofen. Directions for use

The maximum dose of this medicine for an adult patient is 200 mg of Oruvail. The dosage is based on your medical condition and response to therapy. Do not increase your dose or take it more frequently than recommended because this may increase your risk of stomach bleeding. To reduce your risk of bleeding and other side effects, take this medication at the lowest effective dose for the shortest possible time. Do not take more than 100 milligram daily if you have severe kidney disease.

Take this medication by mouth usually once daily with a full glass of water (8 ounces or 240 milliliters), unless your doctor directs you otherwise. Do not lie down for at least 30 minutes after taking this drug.

Swallow this medication whole. Do not crush or chew the capsules; doing so can destroy the long action of the drug and may increase side effects. If stomach upset occurs while taking this medication, take it with food, milk, or an antacid.

It may take up to 2-4 weeks, taken regularly, before the full benefits of this drug take effect. Since Oruvail is usually taken in when it is needed a missed dose of this medicine is unlikely. Side effects

A treatment with Oruvail could trigger some severe side effects such as: slurred speech, chest pain, shortness of breath, weakness, problems with balance or vision; black, tarry or bloody stools; tremors confusion, or shaking; jaundice (yellowing of the eyes or skin), nausea, low fever, stomach pain, dark urine, loss of appetite, clay-colored stools; sore throat, fever, and headache, peeling, skin rash; severe tingling, bruising, muscle weakness, numbness, pain.

Oruvail can also trigger some other less dangerous side effects such as: upset stomach, constipation. diarrhea; gas, bloating; headache, dizziness, nervousness; skin rash or itching; dry mouth; blurred vision; runny nose, increased sweating.

A prolonged treatment with Oruvail is known to increase the risk of developing some severe circulation or heart disorders that can include stroke or heart attack. Users who have recently undergone by-pass surgery should not start using this medicine. If you start to experience circulation or heart disorders (like weakness, chest pain, problems with balance or vision or breath shortness). A treatment with Oruvail might increase the risk of causing sever damage to the intestines or to the stomach (this includes perforation and / or bleeding). Such medical conditions can have lethal effects, and it has been shown that elderly patients are more prone to experiencing such disorders.

Seek emergency medical attention if you think you have used too much of this medicine. Symptoms of a ketoprofen overdose may include nausea, vomiting, dizziness, drowsiness, black or bloody stools, coughing up blood, urinating less than usual or not at all, shallow breathing, fainting, seizure (convulsion), or coma.
